Brad, when I first looked at this site, that exact same thought crossed my mind. The main navigation appears to be inspired by that of Adaptive Path.

Inspired or not that is a very good design, one of the better ones here on CVG. It can be appreciated by non-techies too which is important, something that many of the minimalist blog designs can't do.

I'd have to say it is inspired if not stolen from adaptive path; it's nearly exsactly the same except for the color of the border-bottom; and the way the active page stands out bold... smells fishy too me but still nice design.

Every website (both good and bad) is "inspired" by other websites (both good and bad). I think the Itomic site is inspired by other well designed websites... nothing more and nothing less... just fantastic user friendly GREAT design. - there is no theft here.

For the people that commented that this site's design is "stolen" from adaptive path, give the link to a website YOU designed and I guarantee you I can find at least 5 sites that look almost the same to yours. Having said that, this site looks nothing like adaptive path's site other than the navigation at the top, which uses a technique seen on many sites (even cssvault.com, slightly). Because of that one little detail you think they stole it from adaptive path? Puhh-leez.
